Challenge

Fujirebio Diagnostics wanted to increase physician awareness (outside of the US) of their CA125 + HE4 ovarian cancer biomarker test combination, a new differential diagnostic tool for women presenting with a pelvic mass to help determine the most appropriate course of care. They also wanted to create an ongoing engagement opportunity with physicians in order to drive adoption.

Solution

Influence developed and deployed an iPhone app centered around the ROMA (Risk of Ovarian Malignancy Algorithm) calculator, a risk stratification tool that combines CA125 + HE4 to compute the risk of malignancy. Physicians input their patients’ CA125 and HE4 values into the calculator and it stratifies women into a high- or low-risk group for malignancy. The multi-lingual iPhone app also includes useful information about ROMA and the biomarker test combination.
